Consists of the President, Internal and External Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. They have a greater authority in decision making, overseeing the organization, and serve as a head of each committee.

The role of the President is to act as a representative and spokesperson of the Vietnamese Student Association as a whole, authorize and approve things for the best interest of the organization, delegate tasks and responsibilities for all officers, oversee all organizational activity and maintain a relationship with AASU and MAUVSA.

In charge of the Director of Operations Committee, the Internal Vice President of the Vietnamese Student Association implements and is in charge of the Big / Little program along with the Family program. The IVP also oversees service opportunities, connects with other communities both domestically and internally, and provides additional support for the other officer position.

In charge of the External Relations & Outreach Committee, the External Vice President is the representative of Virginia Tech at monthly MAUVSA meetings with the VSA organizations from the Mid-Atlantic schools and maintain good relations with the other schools. The EVP attends other school’s VSA events and is in charge of arranging housing / transportation between schools.

In charge of the Financial Audit Committee, the Treasurer keeps track of cash and debit accounts, maintains a relationship with budget board in order to request funding for all of VTVSA’s cultural events, keeps an ongoing list of all paid VSA members and reimburses officers for any extraneous VSA-related purchases.

In charge of the Media Production Committee, the Secretary is in charge of taking attendance for officers and members during meetings, events, and other programs held by VTVSA. She also sends out monthly newsletters about upcoming events and club information, takes meeting minutes during officer meetings, and updates the master calendar for the officers and general members.

The Advisors helps the officer board with any tasks that need an extra hand. They are also in charge of creating and running professional workshops for both officers and members. They have a hand in decision-making and are there as a resource for new officers adjusting to being on the board.

The Events Coordinators plan events and promote bonding experiences in VSA, book and coordinate with venues around the community, create necessary Facebook events and spreadsheets to organize rides, and purchase supplies needed for events with the Treasurer.

The Culture Show Chairs organize the annual culture show, appoint committees deemed necessary (i.e. costume, stage design, backstage crew, etc.), meet up with event planning to set up technical aspects for the show, set up room reservations for practices, work with treasurer to budget show funds and organize a performance for the AASU Fall Culture Show and VTVSA Spring Culture Show.
